ash2¹⁸/ash2¹⁴ transheterozygote thorax displays duplicated bristles and sockets. ash2⁷/ash2¹⁸ transheterozygous wings display campaniform sensilla to bristle transformation. ash2³/ash2¹⁸ transheterozygous wings display an ectopic bristle that does not replace a known campaniform sensilla, but may replace an ectopic sensilla.
