The lethality of Df(2R)ΔLR51 homozygotes is fully rescued by the P{SmD3.+t2.3} construct which contains the complete SmD3 gene, suggesting that Df(2R)ΔLR51 affects SmD3 function and not Oda function. Complements: Oda^EP2104.
