Sensitivity to ethanol-induced sedation is not affected in Dop1R1PL00420 mutant adults.

Homozygotes show abnormal temperature-preference behaviour; their avoidance index against low temperatures is less than 50% of wild type.

DopRPL00420/Df(3R)red-P52 flies show abnormal temperature-preference behaviour; their avoidance index against low temperatures is only 23% of wild type.

Homozygous DopRPL00420 mutants show reduced ethanol-induced hyperactivity. Without ethanol stimulation, activity is unaffected in DopRPL00420 homozygotes.
