Expression of PPP1R15GD5953 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E leads to increased cell death in third instar larval wing discs.

Expression of Gadd34GD5953 under the control of either Scer\GAL4tub.PU or Scer\GAL4e22c results in significant embryonic lethality associated with the failure of dorsal closure in some cases.

Animals expressing Gadd34GD5953 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 show delayed larval development. After 6 days, most of the animals reach the third larval instar stage but are smaller than controls, appear sluggish and often display moulting defects (including retention of previous instar mouth hooks and cuticle shedding).

Adults expressing Gadd34GD5953 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in a weak flyer phenotype.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in loss of bristles on the notum in 40-50% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 expression domain.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in mild thorax closure defects.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in an enlarged notum.

Embryos co-expressing both Gadd34GD5953 and Gcn2KK103566 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 show a strong reduction in the rate of hatching compared to both wild type and embryos expressing either Gadd34GD5953 or Gcn2KK103566 singly.

Co-expression of PEKGD5584 modestly rescues the developmental delay phenotype of animals expressing Gadd34GD5953 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32. However, these animals often die during eclosion from the pupal case, and surviving adults show severe mobility defects and have strongly reduced longevity.
