Expression of exGD12782 driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PU leads to a small eye phenotype.

The expression of exGD12782 under the combined control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU and Dicer-2 transgene (for an efficient RNAi) leads to a significant increase in total wing area, as compared to controls.

Wing discs expressing exGD12782 under the control of Scer\GAL4hh-Gal4 have an increased P-compartment size compared to controls. Expression of exGD12782 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in wing overgrowth.

Expression of exGD12782 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PFa results in a small increase in the number of inter-ommatidial cells in the pupal eye.

Expression of exGD12782 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in wing overgrowth.

Expression of exGD12782 using Scer\GAL4nub-AC-62 results in overgrown wings.

Expression of exGD12782 (co-expressed with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa) under the control of Scer\GAL4repo.PU has no effect on glial cell number in the third instar larval eye disc.

Co-expression of Schip1Scer\UAS.cCa suppresses the small eye phenotype seen in flies with expression of exGD12782 driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PU.

The co-expression of exGD12782 and DlishHMS01708 under the combined control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU and Dicer-2 transgene (for an efficient RNAi) results in a big wing area phenotype similar to that observed upon expression of exGD12782 alone, instead of the small wing area phenotype observed upon the expression of DlishHMS01708 alone.

Co-expression of exGD12782 and ZyxScer\UAS.T:Myr-Src42A under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in reduced adult eye size and a complete loss of photoreceptor cells in third instar larval eye discs compared to when exGD12782 is expressed alone.
