The expression of vtdGL00522 under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU (together with Dicer-2, for efficient RNAi) leads to a significant increase in apoptosis in the posterior compartment of the third instar larval wing disc, which is suppressed by co-expressing egrKK103432.

Expression of vtdGL00522 under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU (together with Dicer-2, for efficient RNAi) results in increased numbers of hemocytes on the surface of third instar larval wing discs, as compared to controls, which are not suppressed by co-expressing egrKK103432.

The apoptosis observed in dlg1A40.2 mutant wing disc tumors is virtually abrogated by the expression of egrKK103432, alone or in combination with Ras85DV12.UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4Hml.Δ or by the co-expression of TlUASp.Venus and egrKK103432 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA.

Expression of egrKK103432 does not suppress the increase in circulating lamellocytes seen when ND75GD6309 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4Antp-10.
