        Reporter GFP expression is observed in taste organs. In the labellum, chemosensory sensilla contained one GFP-positive neuron. About 28 GFP-positive neurons are observed per labial palp and two in each tarsus of the legs. Four GFP-positive neurons are present in labral sense organs and in the ventral cibarial sense organs. Coexpression with ScerGAL4Gr66a.PD suggests that it is expressed in bitter-sensistive gustatory receptor neurons.
