Expression of Atg7JF02787 RNAi under the control of Scer\GAL4phm.PO leads to massive accumulation of lipid droplets in the prothoracic gland cells of third instar larvae.

Expression of Atg7JF02787 under the control of Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 does not lead to any defects in midgut degradation after pupariation, with no significant difference in the size of the gastric caeca 4 hrs after puparium formation, or in autophagy levels 2 hrs after puparium formation.

Expression of Atg7JF02787 under the control of Scer\GAL4cg.PU results in a decrease in starvation-induced autophagy in the larval fat body, as compared to controls.
