Expression detected in three warmth-responsive sensory neurons in the arista.
Scer\GAL4Gr28b.d.PT drives expression in adult abdominal multidendritic neurons with with dorsal processes extending along the left-right axis, as well as in multidendritic neurons with lateral processes extending anteroposteriorly; these major processes have several protruding dendrites. Additionally, expression is driven in multidendritic neurons with ladder-like processes along the dorsal abdominal wall.
Scer\GAL4Gr28b.d.PT is expressed in a gustatory neuron of one bitter-sensitive labellar taste bristle.
Scer\GAL4Gr28b.d.PT is expressed in one short bitter-sensitive sensilla of the labellum.
Expression of Scer\GAL4Gr28b.d.PT is seen in approximately 3 neurons per labial palp. Scer\GAL4Gr28b.d.PT is found to be expressed in a single neuron associated with the ventral cibarial sense organ. Expression is found in at least two taste neurons and also in several non-chemosensory neurons associated with the fifth tarsal segment. Expression of Scer\GAL4Gr28b.d.PT is seen in three neurons located at the base of the arista, which possibly function as thermo- and/or hygroreceptors. Expression is seen in leg neurons thought to be stretch receptors or proprioreceptors. Expression of Scer\GAL4Gr28b.d.PT is seen within axons that innervate either antennal lobe glomerulus VP2 or VP3.
