Drives expression in the posterior medial protocerebrum (PMP), the AMP (anterior medial protocerebrum) and the ALP (anterior lateral protocerebrum). Drives expression in several identified neurons, including the adult serotonergic LP2, SE1, and SE3 neurons, and the FMRFamide SE2 neuron.
ScerGAL4l.Trh.PK drives expression in all SP1 neurons, 3-4 SP2 neurons, 4-6 IP neurons, all LP1 neurons, 4-9 LP2 neurons, 0-1 and in three clusters of serotonergic neurons in the protocerebrum, one dorsal to LP1, another in the dorsal part and one the anterior part, where it drives expression in 0-1 adult serotonergic LP3 neuron, 1-3 adult serotonergic AP neurons and all adult serotonergic DP neuron. It also drives expression in small numbers (1-5) of non-serotonergic neurons adjacent to SP1, SP2, IP, LP1, LP2, LP3, T2 and T3.
