Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

The expression of HDAC6UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA does not affect the number of autophagosome-like structures (Atg8a-positive) in the early third instar larval fat body, as compared to controls.

Third instar larvae expressing HDAC6Scer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 do not display any apparent differences in the microtubule network in muscle cells compared to controls at room temperature but their microtubules (MT) are more sensitive to cold-induced destabilization as the perinuclear MTs are much less dense in αTub84BK40R mutant muscle cells than in wild-type after cold treatment.

Co-expression of HDAC6Scer\UAS.cDa completely rescues the increase in satellite boutons at the neuromuscular junction seen in third instar larvae expressing Kat60Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of either Scer\GAL4elav.PU or Scer\GAL4C57.

Co-expression of HDAC6Scer\UAS.cDa does not rescue the defects in dendritic elaboration in the class IV dendritic arborization neurons which are caused by expression of Kat60Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG.

Co-expression of HDAC6Scer\UAS.cDa rescues the decrease in perinuclear microtubule density which is seen in larval muscle cells expressing Kat60Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4C57.

The decrease in perinuclear microtubule density which is seen in larval muscle cells expressing spasScer\UAS.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 is not altered by co-expression of HDAC6Scer\UAS.cDa.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Co-expression of HDAC6Scer\UAS.cDa suppresses the retinal degeneration phenotype seen in adults expressing Hsap\SNCAScer\UAS.cFa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.

Complementation and Rescue Data
Fails to rescue
Comments

Expression of HDAC6Scer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 completely suppresses the ability of HDAC6KO to rescue the perinuclear microtubule density defects seen in the muscles of animals expressing either Hsap\MAPTV337M.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4C57.
