Reporter expression recapitulates the ebd1 expression pattern. It is observed in embryos in neurons, glia, muscle cells, and garland cells. In larvae and pupae, expression persists in the same cell types and also in salivary glands. In pupae, the dorsal medial muscle fibres and myoblasts are stained.
