Expression of Axn^{Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP} under the control of Scer\GAL4^bbg-C96 results in wing notching.

Expression of Axn^{Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP} in the heart under the control of Scer\GAL4^tin.CΔ4 results in flies with markedly smaller hearts and significantly reduced end diastolic dimension (EDD). Heart wall thickness is similar to controls but and accumulated material can be seen within the lumen of the heart that occupies a large portion of the cross-sectional area of the vessel chamber.
