The abnormal dark pigmentation in the central thorax of adult flies expressing TxlNIG.5495R under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 is strongly suppressed by co-expression of Rpn11Scer\UAS.cTa (only a narrow dark stripe remains).

The age-progressive eye degeneration and loss of pigmentation characteristic for flies expressing either Hsap\TARDBPM337V.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC or Hsap\FUSR521C.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU is mildly suppressed by co-expression of Rpn11Scer\UAS.cTa (the number of flies with necrotic patches at day 15 post-eclosion is slightly decreased).

The progressive degeneration of the eye caused by expression of Hsap\ATXN3tr.Q78.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is suppressed by co-expression of Rpn11Scer\UAS.cTa.
