Adult males with inhibition (using Ctet\tetXTNT-LC.UAS) of Scer\GAL4VT044966 cells do not have significant suppression of courtship behavior following training with mated females, unlike controls.

Adult males with thermogenetic activation (using TrpA1UAS.(B).cKa at 32[o]C) of Scer\GAL4VT044966 cells have a significant suppression of courtship behavior following training with a virgin female, unlike controls; there is no suppression of courtship behavior due to activation in the absence of training, similar to controls.

Inhibition (using shi1.UAS at 31[o]C) of Scer\GAL4VT044966 cells in adults during testing only significantly reduces 3-hour aversive olfactory memory, but not anaesthesia-resistant memory, compared to controls, with no effect on odor or shock avoidance.
