Reference

The testes of pelo^PA13 homozygotes show a significant and progressive decrease in germline stem cells, as well as meiosis defects, with abnormally large spermatids containing 4N or 2N chromosomal content, and large nebenkern, as compared to controls; heterozygotes show no changes in germline stem cell number, as compared to controls.

pelo^PA13 females have much smaller ovaries at both 25 and 29[o]C compared to heterozygous controls.
