flamA/flamA, AstC-R2f03116/AstC-R2f03116, ctA/+ mutants display significant mortality during the pharate stage, but not flamA/flamA, AstC-R2f03116/+ or flamA/flamA, AstC-R2f03116/AstC-R2f03116 mutants.

flamA, ctA double homozygotes display significant mortality during the pharate stage as compared to controls, which is significantly increased or even reaches lethality by AstC-R2f03116 heterozygosity or homozygosity, respectively; these flamA, ctA, AstC-R2f03116 triple homozygous lethal pharates become trapped in the pupal case, still exhibiting pupal membrane attached to several body parts; the mortality of flamA, ctA double homozygotes is partially suppressed by heterozygosity for either Su(var)2055, Su(var)3-92, AGO2414, Dcr-2L811fsX, AGO3t2 or aubHN2, fully suppressed by either Su(var)3-7DG10405, Su(var)3-91, or AGO2414, AGO3t2 double heterozygosity; flamA/flam1, ctA/ct6 double transheterozygotes show a small but significant increase in mortality as compared to flamA/flam1 single heterozygotes.

flamA/flamA, ctA/+,fA/+ mutants, but not flamA/flamA, fA/fA mutants, exhibit a small but significant increase in pharate mortality, as compared to controls.
