The associated spreadsheet file contains new or corrected data for 50 Exelixis insertion lines that did not have an associated GenBank accessions in FlyBase.
All of the sequences locations given are based on alignments to the release 6 assembly of the D. melanogaster genomic sequence and the gene assignments are based on the current gene model release. The genes entered in the GDP_Gene1 and GDP_Gene2 columns are for insertion sites within the annotated transcription unit.  The genes entered in the GDP_Upstream_Gene columns are for insertion sites upstream of the transcription unit, within 500 bp of the 5’ end.
