Hrb27Ck10413/Hrb27C02647 transheterozygous flies frequently have Mushroom Bodies (MB) with α and β lobes of unequal width (asymmetric), truncated α lobes or MBs lacking either the α or the β lobes when compared to controls. They also exhibit abnormal overextended αβ dorsal branches that systematically grow toward the midline when compared to controls.

<2% of eggs laid by Hrb27C02647/Hrb27C377 females exhibit any degree of dorsalisation. Nurse cell chromosomes in Hrb27C377/Hrb27C02647 females do not disperse properly after stage 6 of oogenesis.

The organisation and polarity of the oocyte cytoskeleton is somewhat abberant in these Hrb27C02647/Hrb27C02647 germline clones.

Hrb27Ck10413/Hrb27C02647 flies are viable but usually have small nicks in the wing margin.
