Heteroallelic combination of dco^S144701 with dco², dco¹⁸, dco^le88, dco^i3-193, dco^S053813, dco^S139602, dco^S091510 or dco^P103 produces adults that show reduced eyes and/or reduced facets, occasional extra vibrissae and defects in the shape and veins of the wing, though the penetrance depends on the particular allele in question, and is frequently much higher in females than in males. dco³ in combination with dco^S144701 : adult viable with reduced eyes, extra vibrissae and expanded wings. dco² in combination with dco^S144701 : adult viable with normal phenotype. dco¹⁸ in combination with dco^S144701 :adult viable with narrow wings, reduced eyes, disordered facets and minor wing vein defects. dco^le88 in combination with dco^S144701 : adult viable with reduced eyes, disordered facets and minor wing vein defects. dco^i3-193 in combination with dco^S144701 : adult viable with reduced eyes, disordered facets and minor wing vein defects. dco^S053813 in combination with dco^S144701 : adult viable with reduced eyes, disordered facets and minor wing vein defects. dco^S139602 in combination with dco^S144701 : adult viable with reduced eyes, disordered facets and minor wing vein defects. dco^S091510 in combination with dco^S144701 : adult viable with normal phenotype. dco^P103 in combination with dco^S144701 : adult viable with normal phenotype.
