The rough eye phenotype observed in Fmr1^sev.PW flies is suppressed in a dco^S139602/+ background.

Homozygotes show larva/pupal lethality and have a discless phenotype. dco³ in combination with dco^le88, dco^i3-193, dco^S053813, dco^S139602, dco^S091510 and dco^P103 : show lethality during larval or early pupal stages with typical dco³ phenotype (swollen tarsi with or without head defects). Discs overgrown. dco² in combination with dco^i3-193 or dco^S139602 : show lethality during larval or early pupal stages, with abnormal discs with granular zone and abnormal folding. dco¹⁸ in combination with dco^S139602 or dco^S091510 : show lethality during larval or early pupal stages with a discless phenotype. dco^le88 in combination with dco^S139602 : show lethality during larval or early pupal stages with a discless phenotype. dco^i3-193 in combination with dco^S139602 : show lethality during larval or early pupal stages with discless phenotype. dco^S053813 in combination with dco^S139602 : show lethality during larval or early pupal stages with a discless phenotype. dco^S139602 in combination with dco^S091510 : show lethality during larval or early pupal stages, normal discs. dco^S139602 in combination with dco^P103 : show lethality during embryogenesis or early larval stages, abnormal discs with granular zone and abnormal folding. dco^S139602 in combination with dco^S144701 : adult viable with reduced eyes, disordered facets and minor wing vein defects.
