Expression of hpoScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4RapGAP1-OK6 results in a significantly increased number of satellite boutons on neuromuscular junctions in third instar larvae.

Expression of hpoScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 has no apparent germarium phenotype.

Expression of hpoScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in increased wing disc cell death and a reduction in adult wing size.

hpoScer\UAS.cWa; Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 animals have dramatically reduced wings.

The rather moderate tumorous germarium phenotype observed in hhAC2/hhts2 transheterozygotes (moved to the non-permissive temperature - 29[o]C - after eclosion) or in flies expressing cidsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 is strongly aggravated by expression of hpoScer\UAS.cWa (with the Scer\GAL4C587 driver). The enhanced phenotype of flies expressing both cidsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T and hpoScer\UAS.cWa simultaneously can in turn be partially rescued by co-expression of either wtsVDRC.cUa or ykiScer\UAS.cHa.

TgiΔP mutant wing disc clones induced in flies expressing hpoScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 have less apoptosis compared to when hpoScer\UAS.cWa is expressed alone. The reduction in adult wing size is also partially suppressed.

Expression of TgiGD7081 (co-expressed with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa) suppresses the wing disc apoptosis seen when hpoScer\UAS.cWa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU. The reduction in adult wing size is also partially suppressed.

Expression of hpoScer\UAS.cWa under the control of either Scer\GAL4Dl-05151-G or Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 during the adult stage only (using the temperature sensitive Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B allele to limit the stage of expression) partially suppresses the increased number of mitotic cells seen in the midgut of Pez1/Pez2 adults.
