Expression of PEK^Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4^ppk.PU results dendritic arbor shortening in the class IV ddaC neurons.

Expression of PEK^Scer\UAS.cMa posterior to the morphogenetic furrow under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF results in pupal lethality. Flies raised at 18[o]C emerge, and display a small, depigmented-eye phenotype.

In third instar eye imaginal discs expressing PEK^Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF, the second mitotic wave is less well defined compared to controls.

Eye disc mosaic clones expressing PEK^Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4^αTub84B.PL (using the Gal80 system) show defects in the second wave of mitosis.
