Expression of Gadd34Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF does not result in a mutant eye phenotype.

The shortening of class IV ddaC dendritic arbor characteristic observed in prel1 mutant third instar larvae can be significantly mitigated by expression of PPP1R15Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PU. Similarly, co-expression of PPP1R15Scer\UAS.cMa strongly suppresses the reduced dendritic arborization induced by Scer\GAL4109(2)80-driven expression of either prelScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 or TFAMScer\UAS.cCa (in some cases however this leads to the opposite phenotype and the dendritic loss is enhanced rather than suppressed) as well as any of the following: Opa1Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1, Opa1K273A.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1, ttm50Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 or COX5Atend.

Co-expression of Gadd34Scer\UAS.cMa suppresses the eye defects caused by expression of PEKScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF.
