Flies expressing Sir2Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4sNPF-R.2.5 show significantly increased food consumption compared to controls.

Flies with overexpression of Sirt1Scer\UAS.cGa driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PU have small eyes with disrupted ommatidial patterns.

Expression of Sir2Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in eyes which lack pigmentation and have a rough appearance. The severity of the phenotype is dose-dependent.

Third larval instar eye discs expressing Sir2Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU show an increase in cell death compared to controls.

Expression of Sir2Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PU results in a small eye phenotype.
