Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
FlyBase Curator comment: 'Arp11' renamed to 'Arp10' to rationalize the nomenclature of Actin-related protein (Arp) genes (by orthology with the mammalian and yeast genes). This gene was originally referred to as 'ARP11' in FBrf0132100, but there is no yeast or mammalian gene with this symbol. However, 'Arp11' is a synonym for the human 'actin-related protein 10 homolog' gene, and the computed vertebrate orthologs of the D. melanogaster gene (CG12235) are all 'ARP10' genes.
