AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.
Gene merge between CG14382 and CG14381 was based on EST data

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

In 12 hr:12 hr light:dark conditions, timeout mRNA levels in adult fly heads are characterized by a significant oscillating profile, with a peak of expression just after lights-off, between ZT12 and ZT15. In adult brains, timeout transcripts are observed in the optic lobe, predominantly in the medulla and in the ellipsoid body. Weak expression is observed in the mushroom body. No expression is seen in the clock neurons. Within the medulla, signal is seen in the soma of the columnar T1 "basket" neurons and at the medulla neuronal terminations.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
