AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.
Annotated transcripts do not represent all supported alternative splices within 5' UTR.
Low-frequency RNA-Seq exon junction(s) not annotated.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).
At embryonic stage 14, T48 transcript is expressed in the dorsolateral and ventrolateral epidermal cells of the anterior compartments of each segment from the prothoracic through the 9th abdominal segments.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
Characterisation of a candidate target gene of Ubx, T48, which is positively regulated by the homeotic genes Ubx and abd-A in both the epidermis and midgut visceral mesoderm. T48 encodes a novel transmembrane protein. Mapping of the cis-regulatory region identifies elements responsible for mediating homeotic gene regulation. The elements contain in vitro Ubx binding sites.
The genes encoding the 35 and 48 transcripts, Con and T48 respectively, are good candidates for the target genes directly regulated by the homeotic gene Ubx.
Cloned as a potential Ubx target gene.
