Scer\GAL4bi-md653-mediated expression of E(spl)m7-HLHScer\UAS.cdCa deletes anterior wing margin bristles.

The eyes of flies overexpressing E(spl)m7-HLHScer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU do not show any detectable abnormalities.

Expression of E(spl)m7-HLHScer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 eliminates bristle formation in the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237-expression domain of the adult thorax.

Flies expressing HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 have missing scutellar bristles.

Expression of HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-C253 leads to bristle loss on the notum, following suppression of sensory organ precursor cells.

Expression of HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PB has no effect on either eye or antenna disc development.

When HLHmδScer\UAS.cdCa is driven by Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 bristle los is observed on the notum.

Expression of HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 causes no scutellar bristles to be formed. Expression of HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4455.2 causes no scutellar bristles to be formed.

Flies expressing HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL432B show loss of wing veins. Loss of notum microchaetae and severe loss of wing margin bristles is seen. Flies expressing HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 show complete loss of notum microchaetae and macrochaetae, except at the very anterior edge of the notum. Flies expressing HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4455.2 show severe loss of scutellar bristles. Flies expressing HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL4h-1J3 show loss of notum macrochaetae.

Scer\GAL4h-1J3-mediated expression causes loss of bristles on the scutellum. Scer\GAL430A-mediated expression causes loss of bristles on the leg. Scer\GAL469B-mediated expression suppresses wing veins L2 and L4.

HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa expressed under the control of Scer\GAL432B enhances the wing notching seen in Df(1)N-54l9 heterozygotes. Expression of HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL432B enhances the scalloped wing phenotype seen in hemizygous Nl1N-ts1 flies shifted to the non-permissive temperature at the early third larval instar stage (72-84 hours after egg laying). Expression of HLHm7Scer\UAS.cdCa under the control of Scer\GAL432B has no effect on the nicked wing phenotype seen in hemizygous Nl1N-ts1 flies shifted to the non-permissive temperature at the mid third larval instar stage (96-108 hours after egg laying).
