Scer\GAL434B drives expression in the most proximal part of the anterior wing pouch, in a pattern that does not overlap with that of hh.

Drives expression in the embryonic/larval salivary glands, in the most proximal part of the wing disc, and in the embryonic/larval posterior midgut.

Expression in posterior midgut during embryogenesis is unconfirmed.

Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Genetic ablation of salivary glands by the expression of rprUAS.C or grimUAS.cUa under the control of the salivary gland driver Scer\GAL434B results in delayed larval-to-pupal transition, small pupae, small larval wing discs, small larval fat body cells and small larval brains - as well as residual larval salivary glands. Ablation by grimUAS.cUa also results in decreased adult body size and weight, and decreased wing size. The decreased pupal body size is not observed under a high-protein diet.
