Expression of PtenKK109278 under the control of Scer\GAL4hh.PU results in increased size of the posterior compartment in in third instar larval wing discs.

Expressing PtenKK109278 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU leads to a subtle rough eye phenotype.

Expression of PtenKK109278 in the eye imaginal disc, under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in a slight enlargement of the eye, compared to controls.

Knockdown of Pten in the dorsal compartment of the eye, through expression of PtenKK109278 under the control of Scer\GAL4mirr-DE results in an overall increase in eye size, as well as a reduction in the size of the ventral part, as compared to control eyes. This growth-reducing effect within the eye is visible under standard conditions but further enhanced on 10g/l yeast food.

RNAi-mediated knockdown of Pten does not result in enhanced tissue overgrowth under starvation conditions.

Expression of PtenKK109278 using Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP results in basal autophagy defects in larval fat body cell somatic clones.

Expression of PtenKK109278 in wild-type tissue results in slight tissue overgrowth.
