Please Note FlyBase no longer curates genomic clone accessions so this list may not be complete
Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
Source for merge of: endos CG6513
endos is required for the transition between mitotic prometaphase and metaphase.
RNAi screen using dsRNA made from templates generated with primers directed against this gene results in chromosome misalignment on the metaphase spindle when assayed in S2 cells. This phenotype can be observed when the screen is performed with or without Cdc27 dsRNA.
endos is required for the proliferative response of the ovarian follicle cells to nutritional changes and also for the osmotic regulation of stage 14 oocytes.
Mutations result in female sterility. Ovaries appear fairly normal, but flies produce eggs at a reduced rate on a rich diet.
The P{lacW}endosS067006 insertion appears to be within the transcription units of both CG6650 and endos (these 2 genes are divergently transcribed).
