Dorsal closure occurs slowly in mutant embryos.
Heterozygotes have wild-type leg and wing morphology.
Homozygous and Rho1E3.10/Rho1J3.8 embryos have dorsal anterior holes in their cuticle. The hole extends from the anterior to approximately the second or third thoracic segment. The head skeleton may be extruded out of the dorsal opening. Homozygous embryos show compacted posterior spiracles with kinked filzkorper. Rho1E3.10/Rho172O embryos have dorsal anterior holes in their cuticle. The embryos have compacted posterior spiracles.

The dot-like small eye phenotype characteristic for flies expressing egrScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PFa cannot be suppressed by combination with Rho1E3.10 in heterozygous state.
Rho1E3.10/+ suppresses the ectopic apoptosis in wing disc cells expressing MoedsRNA.327-775.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1.
A Rho1E3.10 background significantly enhances the Sema-1aScer\UAS.cYa overexpression-induced hyperfasciculation phenotype.
Many adults expressing zipR1171C.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E in a zip2/+ ; Rho1E3.10/+ background show both leg and wing abnormalities (26%), while others show wing abnormalities only (56%).
Some adults expressing zipD1430N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E in a zip2/+ ; Rho1E3.10/+ background show both leg and wing abnormalities (11%), while others show wing abnormalities only (5.4%).
Some adults expressing zipD1847K.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E in a zip2/+ ; Rho1E3.10/+ background show both leg and wing abnormalities (8.2%).
Some adults expressing zipR1933X.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E in a zip2/+ ; Rho1E3.10/+ background show both leg and wing abnormalities (14%), while others show wing abnormalities only (4.7%).
A Rho1E3.10/+ background enhances the splitting wing hair phenotype of flies that express trcT453A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544.
Rho1E3.10/+ ; Sb63b/+ flies have crumpled wings. Rho1E3.10 shows a strong interaction (at least 50% of double heterozygotes have at least one malformed leg) with the following mutations: RhoGEF211-3, E(zip)12-512-5, E(zip)18-518-5, E(zip)31-631-6, zip33-1, Sb63b and Sb70. Rho1E3.10 shows a moderate interaction (25-49% of double heterozygotes have at least one malformed leg) with the following mutations: Df(3R)sbd105. Rho1E3.10 shows a weak interaction (5-24% of double heterozygotes have at least one malformed leg) with the following mutations: SbSpi. Rho1E3.10 shows no interaction with sqhunspecified (assayed in terms of a malformed leg phenotype). Rho1E3.10 shows a strong interaction (at least 50% of double heterozygotes have at least one malformed wing) with the following mutations: RhoGEF211-3, E(zip)12-512-5, E(zip)18-518-5, E(zip)31-631-6, rok1, Sb63b and Sb70. Dominantly enhances the frequency of br1 mutant animals with malformed legs. The fraction of flies showing a malformed leg phenotype in at least one leg, for Rho1E3.10 in double heterozygous combination with one of the following alleles is - SbEbr20 : 11%, SbEbr48 : 8%, SbEbr228 : 2%, SbEbr448 : 9%, SbEbr536 : 14%, SbEbr623 : 2%, bsEbr292 : 0%, E(br)24Ebr24 : 23%, E(br)65Ebr65 : 16%, E(br)155Ebr155 : 16%, E(br)165Ebr165 : 10%, E(br)333Ebr333 : 5%, E(br)72Ebr72 : 6%, E(br)121Ebr121 : 37%, E(br)160Ebr160 : 4%, E(br)187Ebr187 : 0%, E(br)420Ebr420 : 1% and E(br)444Ebr444 : 6%.
The phenotype caused by expression of msnEP549 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is not modified by the addition of Rho1E3.10.
100% of Rho1E3.10/zipEbr double heterozygotes have a malformed leg phenotype, which shows variable expressivity. In more severe cases, a dent and twisting of the femur is apparent, along with shortening and thickening of the tibia. Notching of the posterior region of the wing blade is also seen. 42% of Rho1E3.10/Df(2R)Jp1 double heterozygotes show a malformed phenotype.
