Co-expression of osaAD.Scer\UAS.T:Hsim\VP16 and osaScer\UAS.cCa gives a stronger phenotype than either alone. Expression of osaScer\UAS.cCa driven by Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4 results in dominant pupa lethality. A small number of flies do eclose with deformed wings.

The variable eye size phenotype caused by expression of osaScer\UAS.cCa in the eye driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PH is enhanced by the addition of mor1 or Snr101319. The addition of brmK804R.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 or brm2/+ also enhances this phenotype. The addition of ash122 or ash21, trxE2 has no effect on the phenotype.
