The shortened longitudinal L5 phenotype characteristic for NAx-16 heterozygous females is suppressed by combination with a single copy of the Kap-α3D165 allele.
The wing vein deltas and extra vein material observed in dx152 hemizygous adult males is exacerbated by combination with a single copy of the Kap-α3D165 allele. No wing defects are observed in adult females double heterozygote for dx152 and Kap-α3D165.
Kap-α3D93/Kap-α3D165 is partially rescued by Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL/Kap-α3-UTR.UASp
Kap-α3-UTR.Scer\UAS.P\T; Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL weakly rescues the larval lethality of Kap-α3D93/Kap-α3D165 : around 40% still die as larvae, but about 50% die as pupae and about 10% as pharate adults.
