Clover1.5 is a green fluorescent protein derived from Clover, which itself is derived from the naturally occurring fluorescent protein encoded by the Aequorea victoria GFP gene (UniProtKB:P42212). Clover1.5 contains the additional mutation N149Y relative to Clover, resulting in higher photostability (PMID:26879144).
