Clonal expression of NKK102890 under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU largely suppresses the formation of ectopic neuroblasts in larval optic lobe nerfin-1159/nerfin-1159 mutant clones, and suppresses tumor formation at the adult stage in these clones.
The increased mitotic index in the female adult posterior midgut induced by the adulthood-only expression of NKK102890 under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP7397 (and Gal80[ts], for the temporal regulation of expression) is suppressed by the co-expression of traJF03132 or by traKO.Cherry/Df(3L)st-j7 transheterozygosity, but not by fruP1.LexA/Df(3R)Exel6179, dsx1/dsxΔ double transheterozygosity.
The enterocyte differentiation defects observed in adult posterior midgut expressing NKK102890 RNAi under the control of Scer\GAL4NP6267 (using tubGal80[ts] to limit the time of expression) is not rescued by co-expression of GATAeScer\UAS.T:SV5\V5,T:Zzzz\His6.
The increased number of abdominal lateral and dorsal adult muscle precursor cells present in third instar larvae expressing InRR418P.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4E(spl)m6-BFM.PF is suppressed by co-expressing NKK102890, but no significant effect on the number of abdominal ventral adult muscle precursor cells is seen in these larvae, as compared to controls.
Expression of upd2HMS00901 reduces tumor formation in the anterior midgut when NKK102890 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 (limited to the adult stages using Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B).
