AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.
Cyp12d1-d and Cyp12d1-p derived from a tandem duplication of Cyp12d1 in the melanogaster group (FBrf0219004).
In most Drosophila melanogaster strains tested, there is a single Cyp12d1 gene instead of two tandemly duplicated copies (FBrf0219004).
Gene model reviewed during 5.48
There is only one protein coding transcript and one polypeptide associated with this gene

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

Please Note FlyBase no longer curates genomic clone accessions so this list may not be complete
Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
polyclonal
Two "Cyp12d1" genes are present in a tandem duplication at 47D; Cyp12d1-p (proximal) and Cyp12d1-d (distal). The release 3.2 annotations for these two genes are CG30489 (Cyp12d1-p) and CG33503 (Cyp12d1-d). Annotation CG30489 was labelled "CG18240" in release 2 of the genome annotation and "CG30489" in releases 3.0 and 3.1. Annotation CG33503 was labelled "CG18239" in release 2 of the genome annotation and "CG18240" in releases 3.0 and 3.1.
FlyBase curator comment: Figure 4 of FBrf0123240 lists "CYP12A2" associated with clone GM06292 (NCBI AA802777). That sequence is a ~100% BLAST hit to Cyp12d1-p and Cyp12d1-d, and that clone is linked to those two genes in FlyBase. On that basis, the 'Cyp12a2' (FBgn0040476) gene report has been obsoleted and 'CYP12A2' added as a synonym to Cyp12d1-p and Cyp12d1-d.
