AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.

Annotations CG7400 and CG45083 (which were previously annotated as two non-overlapping open reading frames of a dicistronic transcript) merged as CG46149 in release 6.03 of the genome annotation.
FlyBase curator comment: the insertion in the "e00177" Exelixis line (PBac{RB}Lrr47e00177) was originally assigned to the Fatp gene in FBrf0179797, resulting in the "Fatpe00177" (FBal0160474) allele. However, FBrf0184340 shows that the insertion is actually within Lrr47.

Featherstone, 2011 (FBrf0214274) identifies two SLC27/FATP genes: 'Fatp' (CG46149) and CG30194 (now called CG44252). Dourlen et al., 2015 (FBrf0230430) identify three D. melanogaster FATP genes: 'Fatp' (CG46149), CG30194 (i.e. CG44252) and CG3394. Orthology searches using human FATP genes confirm these three D. melanogaster hits. Therefore, re-named 'Fatp' as 'Fatp1', and CG44252 and CG3394 as 'Fatp2' and Fatp3', respectively.
