AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

Tollo transcript is expressed in the proximal region of the wing disc, and distal segments of the leg discs; expression is absent from the wing pouch.
Toll-7 is expressed dynamically throughout embryogenesis. At the beginning of germ band extension, a strong spot is seen in the head region and diffuse staining in the trunk. At full germ band extension, a pattern of 14 strips is seen and they are positioned posterior to the wg stripes. At germ band retraction, Toll-7 is expressed in some neurons of the CNS, in the precursors to the leg imaginal discs, in the ventral epithelium of the large intestine, and in the anterior and posterior spiracles. At stage 16 Toll-7 is reduced and is mostly restricted to the CNS.
Toll-7-protein is enriched in a cluster of glomeruli in the anterior and lateral regions of the antennal lobe, which include the DA1, VA1d and VA1v glomeruli.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
New stable cell line derived from S2-ATCC : S2 cell lines stably expressing TIR-1 and TIR-7 (the intracellular domains of Tl and Toll-7) were established. S2 cells stably expressing RFP-GFP tandem fluorescent-tagged LC3 protein (phosphatidylethanolamine) were created to facilitate detection of autophagy.
Toll-6 acts cell autonomously to instruct the targeting of specific classes of olfactory receptor neuron axons.
dsRNA made from templates generated with primers directed against this gene tested in RNAi screen for effects on Kc167 and S2R+ cell morphology.
